ICT Business Analyst

About the Role

As an ICT Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing and managing core business systems and processes within KEISA. You will be responsible for providing system support, implementing changes, and leading small to medium-sized ICT projects. In larger projects, you will work alongside an ICT Lead Business Analyst. This position requires a balanced mix of business analysis, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver valuable solutions to the organization.

Key responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Serve as the first point of contact for system enhancements and change requests.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes and ICT systems.
• Define, document, and validate business requirements with key stakeholders.
• Use formal modeling techniques (BPMN, requirements engineering) to translate business needs into clear functional specifications.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Collaborate with ICT engineers and external vendors to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Maintain traceability of all requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define non-functional requirements, including security, performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Propose, validate, and integrate solutions within the existing ICT architecture.

Project Management & Risk Control

• Manage projects following PRINCE2 and PMBOK methodologies.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Identify and manage project risks, including defining mitigation actions.
• Coordinate project roles and responsibilities across teams.
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget changes through formal change control processes.

Testing & Deployment

• Plan and execute integration and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements before go-live.
• Provide post-implementation support, including documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Conduct formal project closure and evaluation against business objectives (SLQDC: Scope, Lead Time,Quality, Delivery, Cost).

Operational Support

• Provide second-line support for incidents and requests.
• Ensure system performance and user satisfaction through continuous monitoring and improvement.

Your Focus

You will divide your time equally between two platforms:

• Mendix (50%): Act as Business Analyst for applications developed on Mendix.
• Qlik Sense (50%): Develop reports and dashboards using data from Mendix and other business applications.

Profile & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in an ICT environment.
• Solid knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN), project management (PRINCE2, PMBOK), and
  requirements engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and user acceptance processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of ICT security and compliance (e.g., SOX) is considered an advantage.
